This website and the Shikkhaloy mobile app are run for Al Jamiatul Islamia Baitul Karim (the "Institution") on the Shikkhaloy education platform. The software is provided and maintained by Sysco United Ltd. ("Sysco United"). This policy explains what information is handled and how.
এই ওয়েবসাইট ও শিক্ষালয় মোবাইল অ্যাপ Al Jamiatul Islamia Baitul Karim (“প্রতিষ্ঠান”)-এর জন্য শিক্ষালয় (Shikkhaloy) প্ল্যাটফর্মে পরিচালিত হয়। সফটওয়্যারটি সিসকো ইউনাইটেড লিমিটেড (Sysco United Ltd.) সরবরাহ ও রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ করে। এই নীতিতে কোন তথ্য কীভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয় তা বলা হয়েছে।
1. Who owns the data / তথ্যের মালিক কে
Student, guardian, teacher, staff, attendance, result, fee and admission data belongs to the Institution, which decides what is collected and who may see it. Sysco United provides the software and hosting-related support and processes this data only to run the service for the Institution. Sysco United does not sell it.
শিক্ষার্থী, অভিভাবক, শিক্ষক, কর্মী, উপস্থিতি, ফলাফল, ফি ও ভর্তির তথ্য প্রতিষ্ঠানের নিজস্ব। কী সংগ্রহ হবে এবং কে দেখবে তা প্রতিষ্ঠান ঠিক করে। সিসকো ইউনাইটেড শুধু প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য সেবা চালাতে এই তথ্য প্রক্রিয়া করে; কখনও বিক্রি করে না।
2. Information we collect / আমরা যে তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি
- Identity and contact details: name, ID, class, roll, photo, mobile number, email, address (given by the Institution or at admission).
- Academic records: attendance, marks, results, diary and homework.
- Fee and payment records: amounts, dates, receipt and transaction references. Card or mobile-banking credentials are entered on the payment provider's own page and are not stored by us.
- Account and device data: login ID, password (stored in protected form), and for the mobile app a push-notification token and basic device type.
- Visitor data: normal server logs (IP address, browser, pages opened) used for security and troubleshooting.
3. How we use it / তথ্য কীভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়
- To run admissions, attendance, results, fees, notices and communication with students, guardians and teachers.
- To send notices, SMS and app notifications on behalf of the Institution.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.
- To meet legal or education-authority requirements when the Institution is required to share records.
4. Sharing and third-party services / তথ্য শেয়ার ও তৃতীয় পক্ষ
Data is shared only as needed: with payment gateways when a fee is paid online, with SMS and push-notification providers to deliver messages, and with authorities when the law requires. These providers receive only the data needed for their task. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

5. Data security / তথ্য সুরক্ষা
Access is limited by role (administrator, teacher, student), each institution's data is kept separate from others, and connections use HTTPS. No online system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell the Institution at once if you suspect misuse.
6. Children / শিশুদের তথ্য
Most users are students. Their information is entered and managed by the Institution and their guardians. Guardians may ask the Institution to correct or review a child's records.
7. Retention / তথ্য সংরক্ষণ
Records are kept for as long as the Institution needs them for education, accounting and legal purposes, then removed or archived as the Institution decides.
8. Your choices / আপনার অধিকার
You can ask the Institution to view, correct or (where allowed) delete your information, and you can switch off app notifications in your phone settings.
9. Changes / পরিবর্তন
This policy may be updated. The version on this page is the current one.
